Weird yet true.
The Aussie just poured himself a bowl of uncooked rice. I thought he was going to prepare some delicious meal of some sort, but no. He stuck is iPhone in it. I guess it's so damp and humid here he has to do that occasionally to keep it working. Odd!
I also went cupping again. The Traditional Chinese Medicine. It was awesome. I was wandering around Newtown and saw a sign for it, so I went in and had it done. They do a pretty intense back massage first, to prepare you for the cups. Then they feel for certain pressure points, and then the cups go on! These ones were a little more painful than the ones I had done in Hong Kong, but that was ok. It wasn't excruciating or anything, just a little more of a tug. I think most people that see my back now (as it's so hot out, I am in tank tops and bikinis all day) don't really know what is going on with it. They may assume it's some strange tribal tattoo of some sort. But a few people know what it is. The Aussie knew as soon as I came home, and a few guys at one of the stores asked me about it too in a way that made me realize they knew what it was. So that's good. But I think most don't!
Enjoy the pic!
